Chicken Pot Pie

Last weekend I roasted a small chicken to attempt to prepare myself for roasting my first ever turkey (which I purchased last night and is bathing in my sink until it's thawed). I had just enough left over meat to make this chicken pot pie recipe from Pillsbury.



It came out very yummy! I added way more pepper than it called for and a little less broth than what it called for. I don't like soupy pie :)

  1. Mmmm, it looks great. I have never made a pot pie. But I like it soupy. Good luck with your turkey. And good luck cleaning out the cavity - that part is the worst for me.

  2. WOW! looks delicious, I agree I don't care for my pot pies to be soupy either. I have to ask, are you going to use all the innards from the turkey for your stuffing? I'm sorry I just can't put my hand inside a turkey,I can hear your mother laughing at me (that's what husbands are for)! See you Thursday.
