Jovan

"Jovan"
I named this project after my mother, as this gift was a gift for her 11/28 birthday.

You need:

  • 10.5 straight knitting needles
  • 1 skein RedHeart EasyTweed; Coffee
  • Crochet hook for weaving in tails
  • 2-3 "buttons" (optional)

Directions:

  • Cast on 30 stitches
  • Knit each row until there is 2-4" left on skein
  • Bind off
  • Weave in tails
You will now have a very short scarf. Manipulate it by folding in different ways until you create the look you want. Pin it in place. Use a needle & thread to sew only the front of the scarf in place so it doesn't flop around. When I made this one, I left the sides & back unsewn, just folded, so that my mother could essentially unfold it so it covered her ears if she wanted. The "buttons" are not functional and are just decoration, but I thought it looked better with them.

Hi

I just created this so I could post any crafts I make, and to follow other blogs. Bare with me while I get it set up. ;)
