Cat Toys

I had a request from my father-in-law to make his girlfriend's cats some toys since they didn't have any. I didn't have any filling or a needle when I was there so I flat knit a little mouse. When I got home I set to work on designing these little guys.

Aren't they cute?

There's already cat hair on the one on the left. Moose snagged it off the table! He watched me make these, so patiently watching with those big eyes. I know he thought they were for him.

Lazy Sunday

We had a beautiful, windows open 67 degree day here on Friday. It was bright and perfect. Saturday we woke to snow. Today was chilly, but bright. The cats loved basking in the sun!

It is a rare occasion when the three of them are so close together and behaving!

Curly Sue

Originally, I was pretty excited about this scarf.

I followed the pattern, but unfortunately it didn't quite turn out the way I had hoped.

It was too short to be a scarf!

So, I tied it to Spike's tank for the cats. Imogen loves it!

Iris

As the snow fell, and fell, and fell some more today, my sweet Iris had the best idea when she decided to curl up and sleep all afternoon on her favorite little bed, surrounded by her favorite toys.

I wish I could have done the same!
